I am Sophia Lezizidis, a Division I student-athlete currently competing with Western Kentucky University Women’s Soccer. After beginning my collegiate career at Grambling State University, I entered the transfer portal in November 2025 to pursue new academic and athletic opportunities, and I am now continuing my development at WKU while studying criminology.

At the NCAA Division I level, I have established myself as a proven offensive contributor and leader. During my time at Grambling State, I was named the 2025 SWAC Pre-Season Offensive Player of the Year, Team Captain, and Grambling Soccer MVP, while also earning All-Conference First Team honors and Conference Tournament MVP recognition. Across my collegiate career, I have recorded 14 goals and 10 assists, including 7 game-winners, and played a key role in securing the 2023 Regular Season Championship. I was also recognized early as an NCAA Freshman Player of the Week.

Beyond the NCAA, I have consistently produced in League1 Ontario. In my 2025 debut season with Railway City FC, I scored 14 goals in 11 matches, establishing myself as a top offensive threat. I will return to Railway City FC this summer to continue competing at a high level. Previously, I represented BVB Waterloo and Whitecaps London, where I recorded a 19-goal season and earned multiple Team of the Week and Team of the Month honors. My development pathway includes invitations to the National Development Centre and Ontario Provincial Screening, along with a 24-goal U17 season.

At 5’6”, I am a versatile attacking player capable of playing as a striker, winger, or attacking midfielder. I bring pace, technical ability, composure in front of goal, and strong vision in the final third. I take pride in my work rate, consistency, and ability to impact the game in multiple roles.

I am also committed to giving back to the game. I coached a youth team in Louisiana during the NCAA season and return each summer to Canada to coach and mentor young players while supporting club development programs.

As I continue my journey at Western Kentucky University, I am focused on elevating my performance, contributing at a high level, and preparing for the next stage of my career in environments that value discipline, leadership, and results.
